EFPG Days Summer 2007 "Printed Electronics - Physico-chemical Transfer Phenomena in Printing and Packaging"
The 2007 EFPG Days Summer session will take place on September 12th and 13th, 2007 in the EFPG facilities located on the Grenoble University campus, just after the 34th International IARIGAI Research Conference. The following topics will be covered: Printed electronics, co-organized with AFFRST (France-Finland Association for Scientific and Technical Research), and Physico-chemical transfer phenomena in printing and packaging.
Charles Murto, Ambassador of Finland and Representative of the AFFRST, will be present to open these EFPG Day Summer.

EFPG Days, research seminar
80 persons including 20 academics and 25 Ph.D. students are currently doing their research at EFPG, one of the largest academic research centres and teaching organisations for the pulp, paper and graphic arts sectors in Europe.
The research activity covers the whole field from wood (and non-woody plants) to converted and printed paper and board.
The first day dedicated to the Printed Electronics is co-organized with AFFRST (France-Finland Association for Scientific and Technical Research) and will take place with the participation of Charles Murto, Ambassador of Finland and Representative of the AFFRST.
The second day will be dedicated to the Physico-chemical Transfer Phenomena in Printing and Packaging. This topic fits an audience of industry people interested in the specific problems encountered when transferring inks, varnishes or coatings on various substrates.
During the two days, the attendees benefit from tutorial type reviews on major technical issues and latest research results. The presentations are given in English by EFPG professors and scientists, as well as academic and industrial partners.
Time will be left for discussions and exchanges and special care will be taken to make this event most fruitful and enjoyable.
