IARIGAI 2007 à l'EFPG : demandez le programme !

Du 9 au 12 septembre 2007, l'École Française de Papeterie et des Industries Graphiques (EFPG) accueillera la 34e Conférence Internationale IARIGAI. Cette association internationale regroupe des centres de recherche, des universités et des entreprises développant des activités de recherche dans le secteur graphique. L'EFPG compte parmi ses 45 membres. Au programme de cette conférence "Advances in Printing and Media Technology" : de nombreuses interventions sur des thématiques variées faites par des chercheurs du monde entier.

IARIGAI -- International Association of Research Organizations for the Information, Media and Graphic Arts Industries -- a été créée en 1965. Cette association internationale regroupe des instituts et laboratoires, des universités et des centres R&D d'entreprises, ayant pour point commun leur spécialisation dans la recherche dans les domaines de l’information, des médias, des sciences et techniques graphiques.
Ses missions : établir un lien entre tous les acteurs de la recherche dans le secteur graphique, créer un réseau de contacts entre les scientifiques et améliorer les échanges avec le monde industriel.

A l'échelle internationale, l'association s'attache à promouvoir les échanges scientifiques, la diffusion et la publication des travaux de recherche, la veille sur les disciplines relatives aux industries graphiques et connexes, ainsi que les coopérations internationales entre les instituts membres. Parmi ses actions, IARIGAI organise chaque année une conférence internationale qui constitue un moment privilégié d'échanges pour les chercheurs.
IARIGAI compte aujourd’hui 45 membres, répartis dans 20 pays.
